Web Portal Project Manager

Job Profile:
This is a multi-faceted leadership role in an exciting, growing organization within a large multi-national technology company. Working closely with the director of Marketing, you will be responsible for project managing the business and technical day-to-day operations of a large, growing collection of Drupal-based web sites. You will provide experience, direction, and measurable performance to a web presence that encompasses more than 50 open source software projects and integrates with a large corporate web site. Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple types of web professionals and marketing stakeholders, coupled with excellent hands-on Drupal development experience required. Familiarity with open source software culture is a plus.
You will work closely with marketing managers, a program manager, web developers, and visual designers to continually improve our online customer experience and increase site activity. This includes developing, analyzing and acting upon web analytics, driving content refreshes, launching new project areas that conform to brand and user experience requirements and integration and collaboration with partner sites.
-Co-develop and lead execution of a web analytics practice with marketing and the development team
-Ensure a consistent and compelling web portal experience for a global audience
-Work with an established Technical Project Lead to direct and oversee the day to day work of web developers
-Establish processes for customer responsiveness, support and communication
-Continuous investigation and iterative testing to create the most productive user experience - for both internal content publishers and external target audiences.
-Create plans for and lead development of user stories, use cases and user testing
-Prepare professional, clear and concise presentation materials appropriate for senior leadership
-Ensure global adherence to brand and legal guidelines
Qualifications
-5-8 years of experience in web/portal project management - ability to motivate and drive project teams to success
-Ability to oversee both marketing and technical functional areas as a Project Manager: web development, visual and interaction design, content development and traffic generation programs
-Skilled at working with multiple peer stakeholders and collaborating with internal, sister organizations in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
-Strong analytics experience -- experienced in the measurement, analysis and improvement of web Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
-Responsible self-starter with strong customer and results orientation
-Proven record driving product from idea to market launch and post-launch customer acquisition, adoption, activity and satisfaction
-Familiarity with customers in our industry, their common business practices and what constitutes an amazing online customer experience to them is a plus
Technical Qualifications:
-Demonstrated experience using analytic tools (Google and Adobe Analytics/Omniture/Site Catalyst), including knowledge of how to implement variables to track client interactions online;
-Drupal 7.0 and LAMP web administration
-Hand-coding HTML5/CSS3/JQuery/PHP; familiarity with JavaScript
-Using version control tools (GitHub)
-Understanding and debugging cross-browser compatibility issues
-Integration and measurement of social media elements
-Experience with tag management (Bright Tag) a plus
-Experience with A/B and multivariate testing a plus
-Mobile web development experience (iOS, Android, Blackberry) a plus
