Microsoft PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) Service Delivery Manager

Bachelor’s degree in IT or related discipline or ITIL Service Manager qualification
Microsoft Security Certification for CA Authorities and/or CISSP or equivalent ITIL v.3 Foundation.


Job Profile:
IT&S Global Operations and Infrastructure (GOI) plays the critical role of delivering defined world-class operational services that the BP businesses can rely upon in support of their own performance. Our specific accountabilities include the delivery of services to specified target levels, including availability, recoverability and cost to the corporation. These services must also be delivered safely and secured against the growing risk of viruses and other security threats.

The Service Delivery Manager (SDM) is the “one hand on the pump” for the services under their remit. This SDM is assigned end-to-end accountability to design, build and improve service delivery. The SDM is to work as an Operations expert and partner with the SDO (Service Delivery Organisation) to ensure service integrity and customer satisfaction.

Public Key Infrastructure is part of the IT&S GOI, End Users Services for Enterprise-Wide Operational Activities based on the Microsoft Platforms. The result-oriented PKI SDM keeps abreast of regulatory/compliance changes, evolving industry practices, changing technology and solution architectures to ensure that our frameworks remain current/relevant to business needs.


Accountability:
• Understand and drive cost makeup of services
• Tracking costs of Vendor services against agreed budgets, along with analyzing cost and developing strategies and tactics to maximise financial benefits.
• Maintain consolidated view of business priorities and demand requirements and ensuring integration in annual budget planning.
• Drive cost saving opportunities through delivery efficiencies and leveraging scale without compromising service quality.
• Ensure Outcomes & compliance with Event, Incident, Problem and Change Management Processes
o Support initial RCA reviews for SIMs to ensure all relevant questions are identified and then resolved
o Ensure that all policies are followed
o Engage in BP Critical Incident management process and ensure SIM communications
o Support CAR Presentations
• Performance, Supplier Oversight & Reviews
o Maintain oversight of Daily, Monthly and Quarterly reports to ensure Service Delivery Organization (SDO) is meeting customer expectations
o Ensure Day-to-Day delivery. Attend regular supplier oversight reviews
o Understand End-to-end performance of service offering
o Govern and direct service quality and service stability activities, ensuring continuous service improvement activities are delivered by the Suppliers.
• Provide Service Management Information & Reporting including:
o Continual Service Improvement
o New Service acceptance
• Own and embed BP critical requirements for service including:
o Risk Management & Compliance
o Financial Management
• Link to Investment Projects
o Support Investment team as they plan, schedule and deliver infrastructure improvements
o Review Operation Acceptance of new projects and programs into EUS
o Support EoSL investment reviews for EUS funding opportunities
• Link to Service Strategy and Service Design :
o Input into collection and understanding of service requirements, business strategy, plans and priorities
• Manage, test and deploy Public Key Infrastructure and solutions.
• Support for Digital Certificate issuance and Life-cycle
o Management, processing and protocols for Diverse Digital certificate types.
• Certificate Key Management and Integration
o Active Directory management, Develop scalable, reusable components for Public Key Infrastructure
• Provide 2nd line system support to the Public Key Infrastructure and liaise with 3rd Level support.
• SSL certificates for Web Sites and Servers.
o Issue and support via managed Application.
• Support Encryption
o Email Encryption and Signing
o Support and management of Hard Disk Encryption
o USB devices encryption
• Smart card management and support
