Job Profile:
-Develop safety management and technical standards and guidance notes such that each unit may improve its safety management system to achieve superior performance.
-Coach managers in the implementation of good management practices such that standard technical requirements are met by operations and good judgment is embedded into the management of non routine and emergency/crisis situations.
-Implement standard statistical definitions in reporting to international standards.
-Providing support to major accident investigations
-Work with the individual units and projects to improve their safety management systems to meet global best practice and to reduce risk to as low as reasonably practical.
-Monitor the implementation of HAZOP studies on the processes within the units operations.
-Develop the ABG crisis management plan and support the development of emergency/crisis management plans to meet international standards at each units.
Qualification: Engineer and Certified Auditor in ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001
