A
leading international consultancy is seeking a Senior Design Manager to
lead the detailed design on a major expressway Design & Build
project in Qatar. This is a senior project role requiring a strong
design/technical background with good experience in the design of major
highways and drainage projects i.e. infrastructure design on rural
motorways, carriageways and interchanges, national roads and urban
streets, storm/foul water drainage
You will be accountable
for managing the consultancy's design inputs and ensuring that the
Design & Build Contractor receives information on a timely basis. Responsibilities also include leadership of the design team and management of the design review and approvals process. .
Interested candidates should have a BEng
/ BSc (Hon) degree or equivalent with substantial post graduate
design experience, be a Chartered Engineer or Professional Engineer and
have previous experience as a senior design manager on +$300M design & build projects. You will have a proven ability to lead and project manage an engineering team and multi-disciplinary projects and experience of MS Office Suite of Programmes
