Qualification:
- Experience in database administration, development and support in MS SQL Server environments
- SQL server administration and implementation in a highly transactional 24x7 environment containing VLDBs
- Experience in Performance Tuning and Optimization ( PTO), using native tools
- Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery ( DR) options for MSSQL Server
- Knowledge of SQL server change data capture, service broker, analysis and reporting services
- SQL Development- ability to write and trouble shoot SQL Code and design ( stored procedures, functions, tables, views, triggers, indexes, constraints, SSIS packages)
- Knowledge of database snap backup, restore and cloning using NetApp Snap Manager for SQL(SMSQL) is highly desirable.
