Job Profile:
Reporting to the Database Manager you will be accountable for the installation, design, implementation, maintenance and support of SEEKs database environment to meet ongoing business needs.

The ideal candidate will have had extensive experience in administering and managing MS SQL Servers in a highly transactional and dynamic online environment. You will be highly passionate about the work you do, have a thirst for learning new trends and technologies and enjoy working in an agile and fast paced business environment.

Qualification:

• Experience in database administration, development and support in MS SQL Server environments
• SQL server administration and implementation in a highly transactional 24x7 environment containing VLDBs
• Experience in Performance Tuning and Optimization ( PTO), using native tools
• Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery ( DR) options for MSSQL Server
• Knowledge of SQL server change data capture, service broker, analysis and reporting services
• SQL  Development- ability to write and trouble shoot SQL Code and design  ( stored procedures, functions, tables, views, triggers, indexes, constraints, SSIS packages)
• Knowledge of database snap backup, restore and cloning using NetApp Snap Manager for SQL(SMSQL) is highly desirable.
