Stifel is looking for an Associate and a VP level candidate to join its Healthcare Banking Team in NYC. Both of these individuals will be an integral part of deal teams, serving as a project manager and taking guidance from senior bankers.

Primary Responsibilities

• Work on multiple projects and transactions at any given time
• Play a critical role as the project manager on many teams; help to manage the deal process from origination to execution
• Involved in both corporate finance (debt, public and private equity) and M&A
• Manage the analytical product created for clients
• Train and mentor the junior staff
• Teamwork and community service (recruiting, reviews, mentoring, firm committees)

Qualifications

• Must have four to six years experience in investment banking or related field
• Prior experience in Healthcare a plus
• Must exercise good judgment in assessing risks and rewards of new business opportunities
• Significant exposure to the public financing and M&A transaction analytics and processes
• Strong ability to work in an entrepreneurial culture

Preferred Skills and Experience
•     MBA preferred
•     NASD licenses
