Job Description: This position is responsible for the management of Oracle databases with back-up support for SQL databases. The Database Administrator will be responsible for all projects related to Oracle or Microsoft SQL database design, implementation, application of patches, monitoring with various tools, and general support of all systems utilizing database technology. UNIX and NT shell scripting also required. The Database Administrator must insure that the integrity of the system is maintained as the applications are enhanced and modified. The ability to multi-task, work on several different projects simultaneously, and document all aspects of a database system is required. The ability to follow change management procedures and test and document all changes is required.
