Android Software Engineer (Mobile Apps)

Intel software and services group is looking for Android Software Engineer.

Qualification: B.S.(Minimum 4 years experience) or M.S.(Minimum 2 years) in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering/computer Engineering,

Job Profile:
Candidate should be responsible to conduct or participate in multidisciplinary research and collaborate with design,layout and/or hardware engineers in the design, development, and utilization of productivity enhancement layout tools and design rule checkers, electronic data processing systems software.
Develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education, judgement and formal software process.
Determines computer user needs, advises hardware designers on machine characteristics that affect software systems such as storage capacity, processing speed, and input/output requirements, designs and develops compilers and assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems. Responds to customer/client requests or events as they occur.



Required Skills:
Android &/or Linux porting and optimization
Excellent Android and/or Linux Operating System debugging skills, experience with adb, gdb, kdb etc., Excellent hands-on knowledge of Android and/or Linux OS internals with experience in system and application software, Configuration management, release management, experience with tools like git, quilt, repo, cvs, svn etc.,Experience in Java, modern C/C++ and JNI, including object-oriented design methodology (patterns, generic programming, etc.), Expertise in at least two scripting languages (Python, Shell, Perl, TCL, etc.)


Preferred Skills:
Networking protocols (TCP/IP), Wi-FI, audio & video signal processing, USB devices (UAC, UVC, HID, DFU). Experience with a variety of low and high speed interfaces (USB, SPI, I2C, I2S, S/PDIF, HDMI), Experience working in an Agile development team with significant experience in embedded applications.
